Messi Strikes Again, Leads Comeback Against FC Dallas

In a scintillating Leagues Cup knockout round match, Inter Miami emerged victorious against FC Dallas. Lionel Messi once again proved he is one of the world's best by scoring an astounding five goals in his first three games with Inter Miami, cementing his status as a game-changer. 

On this occasion, it took less than six minutes for Messi to etch his name on the scoresheet. As the clock ticked toward the six-minute mark, a masterful sequence of passes culminated in a sublime strike from Messi, leaving Dallas' goaltender Maarten Paes with no chance. 

Dallas responded well. In the 37th minute, Facundo Quignon slotted the ball past Miami's goalkeeper, Drake Callender, leveling the score at 1-1. The home team's momentum continued as Bernard Kamungo capitalized on a transition opportunity, moving Dallas ahead with a 2-1 lead as the first half concluded.

As the second half commenced, the Dallas side continued to push forward, widening the gap to 3-1 with a precise set-piece goal from Alan Velasco in the 62nd minute. The outlook appeared bleak for Inter Miami, and disaster struck when a Dallas attack resulted in an own-goal, attributed to Robert Taylor, who inadvertently slipped the ball past Callender.

In the 80th minute, Dallas returned the favor with an own-goal of their own, thanks to a Messi free-kick that was headed into the net by Farfan, narrowing the deficit to 4-3.

In the 84th minute, he conjured another moment of magic, curving a free-kick over Paes and into the back of the net to tie the game at 4-4. The script to the Messi in MLS story is already insane.
