comeback, equalizing with a goal in the 54th minute with a composed finish from Douglas Costa. Despite the Galaxy's efforts to level the score, the Sounders demonstrated their resilience

and determination. In the closing moments of the game, the Sounders grabbed a late winner with a close-range strike in the 96th minute from Cristian Roldan. The late goal cemented the Sounders place in the 2023 MLS playoffs, after failing to make the playoffs last season. The Sounders wrap up their regular season home slate against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, October 7.
